One of the key features of our app is the set of rating buttons at the bottom of each quiz question: Fail, Hard, Good, and Easy. These buttons are designed to help you track your progress and focus on areas that need improvement. Here’s how they work:

Fail, Hard, Good, Easy: What Do They Mean?

Fail: If you press the “Fail” button, it means you found the question very difficult or could not answer it correctly. This indicates that you need more practice with this topic. The app will mark this question for frequent repetition, ensuring you see it more often until you feel more confident.

Hard: Selecting “Hard” suggests that you struggled with the question but had some understanding. The app will schedule this question for repeated practice, though less frequently than those marked as “Fail.” This helps reinforce your understanding without overwhelming you.

Good: When you choose “Good,” it means you were comfortable with the question but could benefit from a bit more practice. These questions will appear less frequently than “Hard” or “Fail” questions, but just enough to keep your knowledge fresh.

Easy: Clicking “Easy” indicates that you found the question straightforward and have a strong grasp of the material. These questions will be scheduled for the least frequent review, allowing you to focus more on challenging areas.

Why Use These Buttons?

The rating buttons are based on the principles of spaced repetition, a proven learning technique that helps you retain information more effectively. By rating each question, you help the app understand which areas you need to focus on. This personalized approach ensures that you spend more time on topics that require additional practice and less time on those you already know well.

How to Use the Buttons

1. Answer the Question: After you answer a question, reflect on how difficult you found it.

2. Select the Appropriate Button: Choose one of the rating buttons based on your experience with the question.

3. Move to the Next Question: Either press “Next” to proceed or use the rating buttons to provide feedback.

Benefits of Using the Rating System

Targeted Learning: Focus on areas where you need improvement.

Efficient Study Sessions: Spend less time on topics you already understand.

Improved Retention: Enhance your memory and recall through spaced repetition.

Personalized Experience: Tailor your study sessions to match your unique learning needs.

By consistently using the rating buttons, you’ll create a more effective and personalized study plan. Prepry’s Quiz Builder is here to support you every step of the way, ensuring you’re well-prepared for your exams. Happy studying!
