Accessing Mock Exams on Prepry
Here's a step-by-step guide to accessing mock exams for both ultrasound and radiography on Prepry. These steps apply whether you're preparing for ARDMS®, ARRT®, or CCI® exams in ultrasound, or the ARRT® radiography exam. Using mock exams effectively can significantly improve your performance and confidence.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Log into your Prepry account. You can access Prepry through our website at www.prepry.com or directly via the app at app.prepry.com.
Open the “Exam Simulator”. On mobile it is in the Main Features list on your Home screen. On desktop it is in the left sidebar. This is where all the mock exams are located.
Select your desired exam. Choose the specific ultrasound (ARDMS®, ARRT®, CCI®) or radiography (ARRT®) exam you are preparing for. Prepry offers a variety of mock exams tailored to different specialties and certification boards.
Take the exam under timed conditions to simulate the real experience. The simulator mirrors a real test center, with a countdown timer, calculator, scratch pad, question navigator, notes, and flag tools, and no instant feedback.
Where to Find Your Results After You Leave the Exam
When you finish a mock exam, Prepry takes you straight into a full review of every question with explanations. If you closed out of that screen, your results are not lost. Every completed session is saved and you can reopen it at any time.
On the mobile app
Tap Stats in the bottom navigation bar.
Make sure you are on the Quiz Stats tab (the first tab across the top, next to Subject Stats and All Stats).
Scroll past the Score and Readiness card. Below it is a list of your past sessions showing Date, Correct, and Score.
Tap the green play button on any row to review that exam question by question. The blue circular arrow next to it retakes the exam instead.
On desktop or web
Go to Home.
Find the Recent Activity panel on the right side of the dashboard.
Click Review on any past session to go through it again with explanations, or Retake to start it over.
If you paused partway through
An exam you stopped before finishing is not in your results list, because it was never completed. Those live under Suspended Exams, and you can resume right where you left off.
One thing that confuses people
The “Mock Exams” percentage on the Readiness card is not your exam score. It is one of the three signals feeding your Exam Readiness Score, alongside Coverage and Mastery. It starts at 0% until you have completed a mock exam, and it is weighted toward your most recent attempts.
Your actual score for a given exam is the number in the Score column of your session list, not the Readiness bar.
What Score Should You Be Aiming For?
The single most useful number is the average of your last three mock exams before test day — not your best individual score.
We looked at 1,462 first-attempt SPI candidates who studied with Prepry and reported their outcome. Grouped by the average of their last three mock exams before the real exam:

84 is the number to aim for. That is where the jump happens — from roughly two out of three passing to roughly nineteen out of twenty.
Why the average and not your best score? Because consistency is what actually predicts the outcome. Students whose single best mock hit 84 or better passed at a noticeably lower rate than students who averaged 84 across their last three. One strong day is not the same as being reliably ready. If your scores are bouncing between 75 and 90, you are not a 90 student yet — keep going until the floor comes up.

They describe what happened for that group. They are not a prediction or a guarantee of any individual result, and the analysis has not been repeated for every exam we offer.
Interpreting Your Mock Exam Results
Understanding your performance is just as important as taking the exam. After completing a mock exam, review your results and focus on the areas needing improvement:
Work through what you missed. Pay close attention to the questions you answered incorrectly and the topics they cover. This is where your score gains are.
Read the explanations. Use Prepry's detailed rationales to understand the correct answer and the reasoning behind it, not just which letter was right.
Look for patterns, not one-offs. A single missed question is noise. The same topic missed three times is a study plan.
Track scores over time. Your trend across several mocks tells you far more than any individual result.
Consider re-taking a mock exam after further study to gauge your progress.
